I love this!!!! You go!! I do make a difference and the money doesn't matter because twenty years from now I know that I made a difference in my student's lives.

Looking back after 36 years, I know that I made a difference, and I still do. The money will matter when you retire, or when you try to support a family on it. Knowing what you did doesn't pay the bills, provide health care, a place to live, food to eat, and those things we need to have, much less any extras. Some districts pay very little, and, when you retire, costs go up, and your income goes down. Save your pennies (you will need more than that) and find some extra income while you can!
He is good, though. And what we do is certainly important.
