Crafty blog Whip Up has a fun project for kids: bracelets out of cardboard toilet paper tubes. A snip here, a dab of glue there, and voila! What a super way to teach about recycling, too.I can easily see this being converted into a seasonal project. For Halloween, you could use orange and black papers. For Christmas: red, green and gold. It would also make a sweet Mother's Day gift.
I think I'll do this project with my preschoolers sometime soon. I've got to do something with all the cardboard tubes I've been collecting this summer!
